Expanding his business ventures internationally, Rakesh Rajdev recently collaborated with Marriott International to establish a prestigious five-star property, the Courtyard by Marriott, in Batumi, Georgia. This luxurious hotel has become a hub for the elite class, offering them an unmatched experience with its refined atmosphere, world-class hospitality, and delectable cuisine.
Kanuda Mitra Mandal is a charitable organization founded in November 2011 in Rajkot, Gujarat, by Rakesh Rajdev. Driven by the mission “Nobody will be left being deprived and worn-out,” the NGO works to support middle- and lower-middle-class communities through various welfare initiatives. Since its inception, the Mandal has aimed to uplift society by focusing on humanitarian service and social responsibility.
The NGO’s work covers several important areas including education, healthcare, and community development. In education, Kanuda Mitra Mandal provides essential items like school bags, stationery, water bottles, and lunch boxes to needy students, helping them continue their studies with dignity. In healthcare, they organize medical camps and distribute sanitizers, testing kits, hospital beds, and other supplies. Beyond this, the organization is active in environmental programs, blood donation drives, and social awareness campaigns that benefit the broader community.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kanuda Mitra Mandal played a crucial role in relief efforts. The organization provided thousands of food and grocery kits, ration packs, and hygiene supplies to struggling families, daily wage workers, and hospitals. They also arranged safe transportation for more than 50,000 migrant workers by operating over 30 trains, ensuring they could return to their hometowns during the crisis. These large-scale relief efforts brought hope and stability to many who were facing dire circumstances.
