Ration Kit Help During Covid

In the Covid-19 pandemic, countless families across Rajkot and nearby regions faced severe food insecurity as daily wage earners lost their livelihoods. To provide immediate relief, Rakesh Rajdev, through his NGO Kanuda Mitra Mandal, organized large-scale ration kit distribution drives. Each kit typically included essentials such as rice, wheat flour, pulses, oil, and basic groceries to sustain families during lockdowns when earning opportunities were scarce. Volunteers identified the most vulnerable households and delivered the kits directly, ensuring that help reached those who needed it most. These efforts allowed families to survive weeks of crisis without worrying about basic meals.
