Somnath Darshan Trip

Rakesh Rajdev, through his NGO Kanuda Mitra Mandal, has organized pilgrimage trips to the Somnath temple for senior citizens, with the goal of offering them spiritual fulfillment and comfort in their later years. Many elderly individuals from underprivileged backgrounds do not have the financial means or physical support to undertake such journeys on their own. By arranging group travel, food, and accommodation, the NGO ensures that these elders can visit one of the most revered temples in Gujarat without worry or burden. Volunteers accompany them throughout the trip, providing assistance and companionship, which adds to their sense of dignity and security. For many participants, this darshan experience becomes a cherished memory, fulfilling a lifelong desire to pay homage at Somnath. The initiative blends cultural devotion with social care, recognizing that emotional and spiritual well-being is as important as physical needs in enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens.
